Eccentric? No, it's surrealistic! This is how you would describe Hélène Nepomiatzi's work once you are drawn into her world. Nepomiatzi's career took off in the late '80s when she co-founded 31 Février, the brand that introduced fantasy into luxurious bags, shoes and accessories when the market was filled with minimalism. Their avant-garde and iconoclastic collections lured the celebrities and famous artists including Diana Ross, Helmut Newton or Gianfranco Ferré.
Nepomiatzi's outstanding originality in accessory design has led her to collaborate with the biggest names in design: Karl Lagerfeld, who has supported her since the beginning of her career, Michael Kors*
In 2008 Nepomiatzi finally decided to design under her own name with a new line of bags, shoes and accessories that reflect her first and biggest obsession - purses!
